What is a Host Agency?

A host agency, like Dazzle Travel Agency (DTA), assists independent travel advisors by offering resources, training, and supplier connections, typically in exchange for fees and/or commissions.

Do I Need Experience to Join?

No prior experience in the travel industry is necessary. We offer comprehensive training and resources to help you start and succeed.
 

What is Dazzle Travel Agency's Commission Split?

We offer a competitive 70% or 80% commission structure to reward your hard work and dedication, allowing you to thrive in the travel advisory business.
 

What is Dazzle Travel Agency's Fee?

DTA charges a monthly fee of either $14.99 or $21.99, depending on the commission split you choose, which can be changed on an annual basis.

 

Are you part of a consortia?

Yes, we are very proud to be part of Travel Leader's Network.

 

Do you have a lead program? 

Yes, we do! Unlike other agencies, you keep your contracted commission split even for leads gained through your profile. 

 

Do you offer marketing help? 

Yes! Not only do we train and have consults that you can sign up for to obtain one-on-one training but we also have access to direct posting to socials and more.
 

Who Accredits Dazzle Travel Agency?

We proudly hold accreditation from Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), allowing us to book various suppliers, including cruise lines, resorts, theme parks, transportation, tours, and more.


Are Travel Agents Still Relevant?

Yes, travel agents remain essential, offering expertise, personalized recommendations, exclusive deals, and assistance during a client's travel. Travel agents are in so much need that many brands actually have special teams dedicated to helping travel agents excel in selling their products.
 

Am I an Employee of Dazzle Travel Agency?

No, as an independent travel advisor, you are a business owner.


Do I Handle My Own Taxes?

Yes, you are responsible for your taxes, and we recommend consulting a tax consultant for assistance.


Can I Charge Planning Fees?

You can charge fees as long as you nor your client live in a Seller of Travel state (California, Florida, Hawaii, Washington). Unlike other hosts, we don't split any of these fees. They are 100% yours to keep. 
 

Is an LLC Required?

While not mandatory, forming an LLC can protect personal assets and is highly recommended.
 

Is Errors and Omissions Insurance Required?

We extend our E&O insurance to our agents. It is optional but still advised (and industry standard) to carry your own coverage in addition to ours.
 

What Training is Provided?

We take immense pride in our position as an industry leader when it comes to training. Our comprehensive Academy training program covers a wide spectrum of essential topics to equip you with all the knowledge and skills required to launch and grow your business successfully. From the fundamentals of starting your business and selecting a name and structure to branding, social media marketing, sales strategies, and specialized training like Flight 101, Disney 101, and Travel Documentation 101, we've got you covered. Additionally, we offer a plethora of valuable resources, including webinars, one-on-one support, biweekly Zoom meetings for ongoing assistance, a private Facebook group for networking with fellow agents, supplier training, and much more to ensure your success and continuous growth. We also have industry leading access to Travel Leader's Network's training and offer an event calendar sharing ship tours, FAMs, events, webinars and more.


How and When Are We Paid?

Payments are made after the client's trip concludes per industry standard, on the first day of each month.
 

Can I Keep My Clients If I Leave?

Yes, you retain ownership of client relationships if you decide to leave DTA.

Are you a MLM?

No, we are not. Nor are we affiliated with a MLM, or have a "MLM arm". This host agency is a family ran business and we take pride in the fact that our focus is on travel, not on recruitment.
